Review one user journey
Superfounder no longer provides client UX audits. To review your own product, start with one journey: what is someone trying to do, and where does the path become unclear or stop working?

Start with one task
Choose a starting point and a useful result. For example, an invoicing app might follow the path from signup to sending a first invoice.
- Walk the complete path Try the required steps on a computer and a phone. Record unclear instructions, unnecessary work and failed actions.
- Keep observations separate from guesses Write down what happened and where. Treat explanations for why it happened as assumptions until you check them.
- Choose one fix to check Describe the change, who it is meant to help and the outcome you will observe. A cleaner-looking screen alone does not show that the task became easier.
